Testimonials

  • "Thomas is an incredibly gifted cello instructor as well as musician. He has this marvelous way of bringing out the best in a student. His lessons combine a classical teaching technique while making the challenges of learning a new instrument enjoyable. I came to Thomas as an adult student with no experience a few years ago. I now play with confidence and enjoy learning each new lesson plan and its challenges. Thomas always has positive feedback that encourages me to continue to grow, as sometimes learning a new skill takes patience. I highly recommend him as a cello teacher. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make!"

  • "Thomas is a phenomenal cello teacher! He is caring, engaging, and works well with all ages. I’ve taken lessons from him for 3 1/2 years and only wish I could have started sooner. Thomas is so talented and loves to share his knowledge with others."

  • "Thomas is the best instructor we could have hoped for to introduce our five-year-old to the cello. He’s flexible and patient yet appropriately serious about the fundamentals of technique, practice, and performance. We are very grateful that he organized a recital that celebrated each student’s progress regardless of their experience level (our child could not have been more proud!). We look forward to the weekly lessons and are excited to see our child continue his musical journey with Thomas."
